Instructions :-

  1. Question number 1,2 and 3 to be performed in the lab.
  2. All question are compulsory.
  3. Perform the given experiment and report that in examination note book systematically.
  4. Take all the precautions while working in the lab and protect your note book from chemicals burn etc.

Q1. Prepare a standard solution of M/20 ferrous ammonium sulphate ( Mohr’s salt ) in 250 ml. Using this solution, determine the molarity and strength of the given potassium permanganate (KMnO4) solution.

 Prepare a standard solution of M/40 oxalic acid in 250ml. Using this solution; determine the molarity and strength of the given potassium permanganate (KMnO4) solution.    (8)                         

Q2. Detect the presence of one cation and one anion in given salt.                                       (8)

Q3. Identify the functional group present in the given organic compound.                          (6)
